To celebrate the 82nd anniversary of the Liberation of Nice, a parade of American vehicles from World War II took place on Place Masséna. At noon, these period vehicles were displayed by associations so that the public could admire these historic vehicles. A photo recap.
This Friday, August 28, Place Masséna, vintage American vehicles gathered for the pleasure of every person from Nice. This open-air museum, celebrating the 82nd anniversary of the Liberation of Nice, allowed visitors to discover Willys Jeeps, Dodges, etc, for the pleasure of both young and old. Everyone could get into the restored vehicles to take photos.
The associations present, such as 509 Géronimo, MVCG Sud-Est united and were able to teach people from Nice how this liberation unfolded. Each enthusiast had brought their vehicle to impress while sharing anecdotes and secrets of the landing. In a simple and lively way, they were able to convey the history of Var and Alpes-Maritimes to everyone.
