Registrations for the 27th edition of the Prom’Classic open this Thursday, October 8, 2026. Scheduled for Sunday, January 10, 2027 in Nice, the race will offer 20,000 bibs. FFA-licensed runners will benefit from early access before opening to the general public.

Runners licensed with the French Athletics Federation (FFA) will be able to register in advance this Thursday, October 8, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A first special opening price will be offered during this time slot to allow licensed runners to reserve their bib for the 27th Prom’Classic.

From 1 p.m., registrations will be accessible to the general public. Another special opening price will be reserved for the first 5,000 registered, subject to available bibs.

The Prom’Classic maintains this year a capacity set at 20,000 bibs, which should satisfy the majority. According to RUN’IX, the event is the densest 10 km race in France since 2024. Registrations have sold out during the last four editions.

This 27th edition will also bring a modification to the start. Three specific waves will be implemented starting at 9 a.m. Timed start times will be assigned according to runners’ time goals. The system should help streamline the race start.

The course will remain organized on the Promenade des Anglais, with an out-and-back route. The race offers a flat and rolling course, particularly suited to runners looking for a fast time, but also to participants wishing to start the year with a sporting objective.

The Prom’Classic also maintains a charitable dimension. One euro will be applied to each registration before being donated to the Food Bank of the Alpes-Maritimes, the charitable partner of the event. Prices have not been announced by the organizers.

The race also shows 40% female participation and 10% international competitors. The men’s race record is held by Azeddine Habz, with a time of 27’44” achieved in 2025. For women, Jana Van Lent set the record in 30’10” in 2026.

Registrations for the 2027 Prom’Classic are available on the official event website. The race will take place in Nice on Sunday, January 10, 2027.
