This charter is part of the work of the Higher Education Commission of UPE 06, in which EDHEC Business School participates, and is in line with the commitments of UPE 06 as a signatory of the diversity charter. For its part, EDHEC is involved in the “Equal Opportunity for Higher Education” initiative, launched at the start of the 2008/2009 academic year.

### The main provisions of the charter

EDHEC is eager to contribute to the diversification of the student profiles interested in and admitted to higher education. It therefore fully supports the national goal of giving every young person a chance to succeed in selective higher education through various national or local initiatives.

Its action is part of the pilot project “Equal Opportunity for Higher Education,” initiated by the Department of Alpes-Maritimes and the Rectorate of the Academy of Nice-Toulon.

In this charter, UPE 06 commits to facilitating the professional integration of high school students from disadvantaged neighborhoods in the Alpes-Maritimes through a number of measures:

– Company visits,
– Welcoming students admitted to the EDHEC Group within this context,
– Welcoming students admitted as part of this operation,
– Donations to the EDHEC Group so that the latter can grant scholarships and honorary loans primarily to “equal opportunity” students,
– Sponsorship contribution of €30,000 per student by companies or distributed among several companies.

For its part, EDHEC commits to associating UPE 06 and its contributing companies with its communication campaigns and conferences on diversity and equal opportunity.

Specific communication about the companies sponsoring the students, especially during graduation ceremonies.

Privileged access to interns and young graduates from diverse backgrounds.
