A delegation from the New York Police Department is visiting Nice to observe the City of Nice’s expertise in securing public spaces during major events and to initiate a partnership.
Their visit began this Friday with an immersion in the command room of the Allianz Riviera stadium with the authorities, during the OGCN/LOSC match.
Yesterday, they visited the Victim Welcome Center, the crisis command center at the town hall, and participated in the security arrangements for the Carnival.
Their visit concludes this morning with a debriefing meeting, during which the partnership aimed at conducting ongoing collaborative work on the continuous improvement of public space and major event security will be outlined.
