As part of the implementation of this initiative, the City of Nice and the Community Local Mission “Objective Youth Nice Côte d’Azur,” in partnership with the State, have aimed to allow 30 young people to join the municipal youth and animation service within the framework of the CAE Passerelle for young people.
The objective of the CAE Passerelle is to allow young people to acquire a first professional experience, primarily within a local community, but also in all structures of the non-profit sector, and to develop skills transferable to businesses. The ultimate goal is to enable young people to work in the commercial sector by using periods of immersion in a company with a private employer. Throughout the duration of the CAE Passerelle, young people benefit from support provided by the Local Mission, which works in conjunction with the Atedia Groupe Adecco.
Beyond this gateway employment, and to allow a greater number of people to access sustainable and quality employment, the City of Nice has sought to professionalize these young people in the animation sector by offering them the “Certificate of Aptitude for Animator Functions – BAFA” training. Once qualified, young people will be able to supervise groups of children or teenagers in a vacation center or a leisure center without accommodation in the city of Nice.
