Chantal Blamoutier, the manager, has just installed the first “oxygen bar” in the Alpes-Maritimes. Tired, depressed, overworked? Come get a boost of oxygen! In ten minutes, and for ten euros, the enticing promise is: 95% pure oxygen, according to the designer, and a blend of essential oils that would relieve fatigue and boost energy.
A little further in the shop, between Hollywood mirrors and corsets that would make Betty Boop tremble, a cocktail of essential oils awaits you. To be consumed in moderation, as they are concentrated at 100%! Orange, pine, and mandarin will take you to Nirvana, while eucalyptus and peppermint will take you to the heights of the Himalayas, just for a “breath of fresh air” break.
