A loyal audience confirms the success of “C’est pas classique.”

Latest News

The curtain of “Cโ€™est pas classique” closed beautifully, and I am proud that this 12th edition was celebrated as it should be: with passion, fervor, and emotion. See you next year!” – these are the words of Eric Ciotti, President of the Departmental Council, organizer of this event, who thus expresses his satisfaction.

For 3 days, the Acropolis Palace resonated with the sounds of instruments, voices, and public acclaim. Over 60,000 spectators attended around fifty free performances offered during this 12th edition.

It is a real reward for those who have the will to make classical music accessible to everyone by offering, throughout an entire weekend, the sound of instruments, the harmony of notes, and the dexterity of great international musicians.

Notable moments from this 12th edition include the vibrant emotion during Francis Lai’s duet on his mythical “Chabadabada,” the excited audience for “Let’s Dance” performed by the Cannes PACA Orchestra in a tribute to David Bowie, laughter through tears during Pagagnini’s show, the energy and virtuosity of Ara Malikian for his grand debut in France, the creativity of Jean-Franรงois Zygel during his improvisational concert around Johann Sebastian Bach, the moving reading by Patrick Poivre d’Arvor accompanied on the piano by Jean-Philippe Collard to Chopin’s music, and the immense talent of the two most gifted classical musicians of their generation, Renaud Capuรงon and Kathia Buniatishvili, during the closing concert.

See you at the next edition in 2017.
