The Senior Future Fair is deliberately “mind-blowing”! This means the visitor will find almost nothing of what they expect in a traditional senior fair. It’s this Sunday, December 9, 2012, at the Palais Acropolis in Nice from 10 am to 6 pm.
Indeed, it constitutes a great first, as it aims to raise awareness among seniors who are retiring, as well as those who have already retired, about the tremendous possibilities for personal development and fulfilling activities available to them.
Indeed, for the first time in human history, an entire age group is breezing past sixty with a life expectancy in good shape that is now counted in decades.
By 2050, 1 in 2 people in Nice will be seniors and will easily live past a hundred. Therefore, seniors can no longer be content with “killing time”, they want to fully enjoy their retirement, directly connected with their times and deliberately forward-looking.
Experiments have been conducted, exemplary paths have been realized, unprecedented perspectives opened to the human adventure. The aim is to share them with the widest possible audience.
Therefore, the City of Nice has decided, in partnership with the General Council and Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, to open a window on senior innovation by organizing this first “trendy” senior fair in France.
Several thousand visitors are expected this Sunday, certainly seniors, but also all those who, in the Nice Metropolis and beyond, wish to know this world of the New Senior Generation, which will be theirs tomorrow.
Price 5 euros (3 euros for holders of the Nice Plus Senior card).
