This evening, for its 9th cultural season, the Espace Magnan in Nice opened its doors to the public to present the program crafted for 2016/2017.
The year is going to be packed! And how? In total, more than 44 performances of dance, music, cinema, theater, etc., are featured in the program! Needless to say, there was no lack of creativity, much to the delight of the audience.
Intended for all audiences (children, adults, seniors), the majority of these performances aim to entertain. However, sometimes they are there to convey a few messages. Some performances, such as “The Odyssey of Empathy,” address themes like “children’s rights.” It’s a way of raising awareness while entertaining.
This season will also highlight cinema. There will be the 32nd Italian Cinema Days, taking place from March 11 to 25, 2017. It’s an opportunity to discover another type of cinema for movie enthusiasts.
Finally, the particularly new feature this year is cinema for the hearing impaired. Throughout an entire weekend, films specially dedicated to the hearing impaired will be shown. Naturally, both young and old, hearing or hearing impaired, can come to share this moment of discovery. The “Sourd’in Weekend” will be held from May 12 to 14.
Several young students have also mobilized to prepare some stagings that will be part of this season’s program. A year that promises to be vibrant and colorful.
