A new political player has set up shop in Nice and in the department: It is the Democratic Front, a party founded by former European deputy Jean-Luc Bennahmias, a former Ecologist activist then MoDem. At the helm of this new party is Nathalie Audin.

This political movement is expected to position itself in the reformist center-left.

According to its founder: “The Democratic Front aims to be a force of proposals, solutions, compromises, a positive and flexible formation that offers prospects for recovery through concrete responses, in the general interest and in the national and European interest.”

Jean-Luc BENNAHMIAS, President of the Democratic Front, and Christophe MADROLLE, General Secretary, thus participated in Nice (Alpes-Maritimes) in the launch of the Democratic Front federation of the Alpes-Maritimes.

Alongside the departmental coordinator, Nathalie AUDIN, and local leaders, Jean-Luc BENNAHMIAS “congratulated himself on the success of the event” and the “quality of the commitment of the leaders of the Democratic Front of the Alpes-Maritimes.”

The general secretary of the Democratic Front, Christophe MADROLLE reaffirmed “the republican, secular, ecological values and the reformist commitment of the Democratic Front.”

Nathalie Audin, for her part, is trying to look ahead: “The DF wants to participate, encourage this new republican pact with all the democratic, secular and republican political, union, and associative formations.”
