Father Gil Florini, the parish priest, and the chaplain of the artists, Yves Marie Lequin, received a painting from the artist Jean-François Gaulthier depicting “Saint Michael vanquishing the dragon.”
This painting by the artist, who has already worked on the church’s decor, was received as part of All Saints’ Day celebrations and Pope Francis’s invitation to honor this archangel, who has been highly revered over the centuries and is accompanied by a very rich iconography.
On this occasion, after the festive mass, the invocation to Saint Michael and the blessing of the work took place, in the presence of the artist.
