This Sunday marks the start of the first edition of the Cannes Urban Trail.
Between trail running and road running, this event is highly anticipated as registrations had already closed a week before the big day.
Several renowned regional trail runners will line up on Sunday for the 13 km and 26 km of the Cannes Urban Trail.
We can expect a competitive race for both men and women!
In the 13 km, Julien Navarro from Var seems to be the clear favorite. Franck Saffioti and Axel Taylor are also expected to be in the running to contest this race. On the women’s side, Audrey Bassac, a native of Toulon with an impressive track record, is the favorite for this distance.
For the 26 km, the Camus brothers will be vying for the lead, although Sylvain seems more at ease than his brother Sébastien on this type of terrain.
