This summer, the LGBT Center Cรดte dโAzur and the CEGIDD of the Alpes-Maritimes Department are hosting a prevention and sexual health booth on the beach*, which is highly frequented, particularly by LGBT individuals (lesbian, gay, bi, and transgender) during the summer season.
Volunteers from the LGBT Center Cรดte d’Azur and their health partners (Enipse, SIS Animation, AIDES, ASA BC…) will engage with vacationers and locals in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. They will provide prevention materials (male and female condoms, lubricating gel, etc.) and offer anonymous and free rapid testing for HIV and Hepatitis C.
They will also be available to discuss sexual health, prevention strategies, the use of “sexual drugs” (“chemsex”), and vaccination against hepatitis A.
The LGBT Center Cรดte dโAzur, the CEGIDD of the Alpes-Maritimes Department, and their partners are actively and effectively contributing to the fight against HIV and the community project “Objective Zero AIDS: Nice and the Alpes-Maritimes are committed.”
