A record participation for the Allianz Riviera Run by On Air

Latest News

The Allianz Riviera Run by On Air brought together 2,805 participants this Sunday, March 29. A significant increase that confirms the growing prominence of the event in the sports landscape of the French Riviera.

The 4th edition shows a notable increase, with 798 additional participants compared to 2025. This development is part of a continuous trend since the race’s creation. The audience is expanding, blending regular runners, families, and groups engaged in an inclusive approach. Residents of the Méaulx Home, with moderate mental disabilities, thus completed the 4 km after several weeks of training.

Loyal ambassadors, including Stéphane Diagana, Jérémy Pied, and Romain Genevois, accompanied the participants throughout the day. Their presence reinforced the friendly atmosphere sought by the organizers.

Olivier Yvon, commercial and partnerships director of the Allianz Riviera, summarizes this dynamic: “With 2805 participants, the 4th edition of the Allianz Riviera Run by On Air is a true popular success. Moving from 2007 to 2805 participants, this event has managed to attract a wide audience, thus strengthening its growing popularity. Many parents joined their children to run together in the afternoon, which contributed to the friendliness and family spirit of the event. Thanks to these additional participants, we have undoubtedly achieved our goal of 3000 participants across the three races offered during the day.”

An attractive concept and a solidarity commitment

The course has retained its identity: exceptional access behind the scenes of the Allianz Riviera, from the OGC Nice locker room to the VIP areas, including the press room and the National Sports Museum. This immersion contributes to the race’s appeal and builds audience loyalty.

The partnership with On Air Fitness aligns with this logic. Alexandre Prut, director of On Air Fitness centers in the Alpes-Maritimes, highlights the spirit of this collaboration: “We partnered with the Allianz Riviera Run because it is a friendly, family-oriented race where people come to exercise and, most importantly, share moments of joy. The event generates growing enthusiasm each year, just like On Air Fitness, which continues its development on the Côte d’Azur. Becoming the main partner of the Allianz Riviera Run is thus an obvious choice.”

The solidarity dimension remains at the heart of the edition. A minimum of one euro per bib will be donated to the Children without Pain program of the OGC Nice Endowment Fund. The total amount will be announced in the coming days.

This 4th edition thus confirms the rise of an event that combines sports, discovery, and citizen engagement.
