The Campus of the 11 Arts will strengthen its network with the opening of SUPMODE and SUP-PHOTO schools on the Côte d’Azur.

The Campus of the 11 Arts has announced the establishment of two prestigious schools in Nice. The first, SUPMODE, is dedicated to fashion design. The second, SUP-PHOTO, is focused on photography. These two institutions, already well-established in Bordeaux, are meeting the growing demand for creative and professional training in the region. Their approach aims to combine creativity with commercial skills. The goal is to prepare future professionals to enter the fashion and visual industries.

SUPMODE offers a five-year program, integrating skills in design, pattern making, communication, marketing, and art direction. Florence Traumat, founder of SUPMODE, explains: “We want to train professionals capable of transforming their creative ideas into viable projects.” Students alternate between theory and practice, working with partner companies to meet market demands.

SUP-PHOTO, launched a year ago, trains future photographers in the strategic use of imagery in businesses and institutions. The program includes a BTS, followed by a bachelor’s degree in communication and a master’s degree in art direction. Students learn to adapt their creations to digital and traditional media, meeting the needs of brands and marketing campaigns.

A local foundation and an international opening

Nice was chosen for its dynamic environment and rapidly growing student population. “The city attracts many young professionals, and the fashion market is still scarcely occupied here,” says Simon Hidier, director of the Nice Campus. The proximity to fashion capitals like Paris and Milan enhances the school’s appeal, which plans international collaboration projects.

Students will also benefit from unique opportunities, such as internships abroad, collaborations with prestigious brands, and events like fashion shows. “We want our students to have an entrepreneurial vision,” notes Florence Traumat. A flagship project: the creation of a junior enterprise in Nice, allowing students to work on real projects for local brands.

SUPMODE and SUP-PHOTO thus offer comprehensive training, combining creativity, practical skills, and integration into the professional world. These new establishments in Nice demonstrate these schools’ ambition to contribute to the creative vitality of the region.
