A single and unique transportation network in the Alpes-Maritimes: Lignes d’Azur

Christian Estrosi, Minister responsible for Industry, Mayor of Nice, President of Nice Cรดte d’Azur, and Eric Ciotti, Deputy, President of the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes, presented this Friday the first joint bus livery.

By choosing to merge the TAM and Ligne d’Azur networks at the beginning of 2009, the two Presidents aimed to offer a rationalized service that best meets the needs of the entire population in terms of public transportation.

This new system allows for the coordination of the two networks regarding routes, shared services, bus stops, bus stations, various means of communication, and the fare offering with the single Azur ticket at 1 โ‚ฌ, thereby achieving significant economies of scale while improving the service provided to the public.

To accompany the new visual identity, the name of the public transportation network (previously TAM and Ligne d’Azur) also evolves and becomes Lignes d’Azur. All the work done on the joint livery, ticketing, pricing, and information comes to fruition, reflecting our desire to give the user a unique and simplified vision and organization of transportation.
