A beautiful gesture of solidarity that deserves to be highlighted!
Fabrice Pancrazi is no stranger to taking on challenges. During the lockdown, he made headlines by running an ultra-trail of 163 km at home, with a course set up in his house and garden. At that time, he organized this event to benefit healthcare workers. Fabrice is also an accomplished athlete, having participated in numerous races such as the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc and the “Diagonale des fous” in La Rรฉunion.
Fabrice Pancrazi will set off this Thursday, March 3, at 2 p.m. from the #ILOVENICE for a unique sports challenge aimed at raising funds for the association France Alzheimer 06. From March 3 to 5, he will cover 150 km with a 5,300-meter elevation gain, which entails making 150 round trips of 500 meters between the Promenade des Anglais and the Chรขteau de Nice.
With nearly one million families affected by Alzheimer’s disease, Fabrice Pancrazi, experienced in ultra-trails and himself a caregiver for a loved one affected by the disease, invites everyone to take action by either joining him on the course or making a donation to the fund dedicated to this event.
The funds collected will support the actions carried out by France Alzheimer 06 to assist, support, and inform people with neurodegenerative diseases and their loved ones through arrangements such as reception centers, home visits, day care, a support and respite platform, a respite haven, a patients/young people program, caregiver training, therapeutic education, training for healthcare professionals, etc.
