The charter “The Sea…My Nature” was created last year to highlight the values of water activities while respecting the environment. By signing it, everyone can commit to respecting these values and become a messenger of the charter.

On Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20, starting at 9:30 AM, the Cap d’Ail Nautical Circle will host a new stage of the 2013 Handi Voile 06 tour, organized by the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes, in partnership with the Departmental Sailing Committee, the Departmental Canoe-Kayak Committee, and the host municipality.

The Handi Voile 06 tour offers free nautical activities accessible to people with disabilities at various handy beaches and/or nautical centers in the department.

At each stage, one-hour sea excursions are offered, with or without an instructor, aboard trimarans and canoe-kayaks provided respectively by the Departmental Sailing Committee 06, the Nice Nautical Club, and the Departmental Canoe-Kayak Committee. For sailing: four departures are scheduled at 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:30 PM, and 3:00 PM.

Last summer, nearly 500 people benefited from more than 700 sea outings, conducted on different vessels, adapted trimarans, collective boats, and canoe-kayaks.
