But who was Saint Fleur?:
Saint Fleur was born in Maurs in Cantal around 1300… Possessing mystical qualities and great contemplative strength, she dedicated her life to prayer. Love of Christ and love of her neighbor were her guiding principles.
Patroness of Florists, Fleur through her celebration, also invites us to rediscover our floral tradition. It is an opportunity to promote the artisanal skills of traditional flower trades which account for nearly 24,000 jobs. From the horticulturist to the florist, there is a mobilization of skills that are an integral part of heritage. It is therefore also a cultural and corporate celebration dedicated to florists and flower producers who have successfully conveyed skills, taste, and values to this prestigious production over time.
The appointment is set for next year
