On Wednesday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Mandelieu – La Napoule nautical center, the Alpes-Maritimes General Council, in partnership with the Departmental Sailing Committee, the National Union of School Sports (U.N.S.S.), and the Sailing Sports Association of their middle school, is organizing the Final of the 20th edition of the School Trophy.
-130 students from 14 middle schools in the Alpes-Maritimes
This competition will bring together no fewer than 100 middle school students from 14 middle schools in the Alpes-Maritimes. These students, divided into 26 teams, will defend their title at the helm of large and small catamarans, and optimists.

The School Trophy was created in 1993 as a continuation of the Sailing Plan initiated in 1991. As part of this, training sessions are organized every Wednesday afternoon throughout the school year in the seven nautical bases of the department.
At the end of these days, three meetings were organized to select the participants for the final.
