Nice is currently hosting the French leg of this global circuit, which has been awarded multiple times and is in its sixth year, spanning 3 continents with 7 events taking place over more than 10 months.
The Extreme Sailing Series is a unique concept that allows the best professional sailing teams in the world to compete on equal terms onboard an Extreme 40*, true Formula 1 of the seas.
8 teams composed of crew members from 9 different nationalities will race onboard the spectacular Extreme 40 catamarans just a few meters from the public in a unique ‘Stadium’ racing format.
The best sailors in the world will compete to win the overall standings.
Also in the competition is the local team Extreme Ville de Nice.
The final standings and the award ceremony will take place after the last competition, this Sunday around 5:30 PM.
