Following an official procedure, as it already does in other Mediterranean ports, Corsica Ferries will now systematically use fuel with 0.1% sulfur content during pollution peaks.
In this regard, the company has expressed its readiness to sign the “Euro-Mediterranean Charter for Environmental Protection.”
Furthermore, cross-disciplinary studies involving the ports of Nice, Toulon, and Marseille are being conducted in collaboration with maritime companies to arrive at the optimal solution for the shore power connection of ferries.
