Starting October 26, 2025, EasyJet will offer a new air route between Nice and Hurghada, Egypt. Two weekly flights will provide travelers access to this Red Sea resort in just under four hours.
From the end of October, passengers departing from Nice Cรดte dโAzur Airport will be able to fly to Hurghada. The British airline EasyJet has confirmed the opening of this exclusive route, which will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. The first flight is scheduled for October 26, 2025. The starting fare is set at 95 euros.
This route is part of a broader expansion plan by EasyJet for the winter season 2025-2026. Ten new routes will be launched from several cities in France, five of which are exclusive. In the Egyptian market, EasyJet will offer eight routes with departures from Bordeaux, Paris, Lyon, and Nice. This represents a capacity of 126,000 seats over the period. โAfter the successful launch of our first routes between France and Egypt in September 2024, we are very pleased to diversify and strengthen our offer to Egypt,โ said Reginald Otten, EasyJetโs Deputy General Manager for France.
The NiceโHurghada route meets a growing demand for sunny destinations accessible during the fall and winter. Travelers will find in Hurghada direct access to the Red Sea, known for its beaches, warm waters, and diving spots. The airline will also offer โflight + hotelโ packages, available for booking now.
A reinforced presence in Nice
The opening of this route between Nice and Hurghada illustrates a strategy to strengthen EasyJetโs network departing from the Cรดte dโAzur. Over the past two years, the airline has made numerous announcements. Among the new destinations: Dรผsseldorf, Madrid, Strasbourg, Rovaniemi, Lamezia Terme, and Santorini.
In 2023, EasyJet accounted for nearly a third of the traffic at Nice airport, with 4.6 million passengers transported. The airline thus continues to strengthen its position as a major player in air transport on the Cรดte dโAzur. Its offer targets a varied clientele: tourists, business travelers, seasonal residents.
With this new route to Hurghada, EasyJet is continuing to develop its international network from Nice. The Egyptian city becomes an additional gateway to North Africa and the Red Sea for the people of Nice and residents of the region.
