The Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region is delighted to be offered a major work from the collection of the Nice-based artist Alexis MORI, entitled “The Bicentennial of the French Revolution.”
This piece, measuring 2.5m by 4m, was created by the artist in 1988 in his studio in Old Nice.
The artist wishes to donate this work to the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region so that it can be seen by the widest possible audience.
Patrick ALLEMAND, 1st Vice-President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, will be solemnly presented with this work on Thursday, May 31st at 2:00 PM in the Mori studio on Benoit Brunico Street.
