As part of the policy for integrating people with disabilities, the city of Nice is making every effort to facilitate the daily life of individuals with disabilities, ensuring that a person with a disability is just like any other person who travels, works, and enjoys their leisure activities.
In terms of leisure, the city of Nice sets up two accessible beaches during the summer season, allowing people with disabilities to enjoy the pleasures of the sea and swim safely. This initiative is very popular among both local swimmers and tourists.
– During a demonstration of entering the water (using a Tiralo, Handifloats, or Hippocampe), the mayor of Nice had the opportunity to discuss this initiative for people with disabilities and to provide a review of the month of July.
