January 27 is Holocaust Remembrance Day and the prevention of crimes against humanity, which commemorates the Shoah. On this day, a gesture of noble spiritual sensitivity was made on the first anniversary of the Wall of the Righteous at the Chรขteau Cemetery.
Christian Estrosi on behalf of the people of Nice and Efi Stenzler, World President of Keren Kayemet Leisrael (KKL), planted an olive tree, a symbol of peace, which will take root next to this same Wall of the Righteous.
The mayor of Nice wanted to accompany this act with a beautiful statement: “Around the Wall of the Righteous, we bowed before a history embodied by those who so aptly bear the name of Righteous.”
