After 9 hours of racing, the distances between the front of the race and the rest of the runners are beginning to widen.

Among the men, Gilles Frediani confirms his status as a favorite. He is the first to cross the 55-kilometer mark at Andrion Pass with a time of 8h 45min 50s. He is accompanied by Philippe Lecourt, who arrived only 15 seconds after him.
Only 7 runners have reached this stage of the race by 2:30.
Another announced favorite, Pierre Saucy, passed the 49-kilometer mark in 13th place, one hour after the provisional leader.

On the women’s side, Irina Malejonock has been in the lead since the start of the race. She is the first to reach the 44-kilometer mark in 7 hours and 12 minutes, followed by Ana Cristina Constantin with 7 hours and 28 minutes.

It is still too early to make any estimates regarding the arrival time of the leading runners.
