Antibes classified as an international tourist zone (TPI)

Latest News

Antibes is one of the three new international tourist zones (ZTI) implemented under the law for growth, activity, and equal economic opportunities*.

This announcement brings the number of ZTIs created on national territory to 21, a little less than a year after the enactment of the growth law. It follows the creation of twelve ZTIs in Paris (decrees of September 25, 2015) and the creation of six ZTIs in the region (decrees of February 5, 2015) in Nice, Cannes, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Deauville, and Val d’Europe.

Retail establishments located in these zones will be able to benefit from relaxed conditions for opening on Sundays and in the evenings, provided that collective agreements are signed. These agreements particularly include compensations and benefits for employees, as well as conditions for organizing employee volunteer work.
