They defied the Prefecture’s ban, which had not authorized this demonstration for security reasons.
But, as we know, laws or regulations are made to be circumvented, and the organizers did not want to give up this quarter-hour of media exposure.
And besides, why give up such a beautiful selfie?
Furthermore, the person behind the initiative, interviewed by the regional television, stated: “We owed this to the people of Nice, and no one could stop us.”
