Certainly!
Always ready, Christian Estrosi unveiled the surprise of the day during a video conference: “I wanted Nice to be the first community to benefit from AlloCOVID, which allows for the detection of a suspected COVID-19 infection through a three-minute questionnaire and proposes a medical orientation tailored to the symptoms, while helping to anticipate a second wave.”
That’s it? Explanationโฆ
Allocovid is a public information and patient qualification system that allows you, after answering a questionnaire by phone, to determine whether you are likely to have COVID-19.
Originally developed by the start-up Allo-Media*, led by Romain Sambarino, as part of a consortium with Inserm and e-SNCF, Allocovid incorporates some of the technical expertise in voice recognition developed by the French company. Its proprietary voice recognition engine is one of the company’s major strengths.
AlloCovid serves a dual purpose:
It offers residents an instant, anonymous, and free COVID-19 pre-diagnosis service. A true civic reflex allowing all concerned individuals to be reassured or to verify if their symptoms require special follow-up. This enables them to adapt their behavior, for example, returning to the workplace or, conversely, maintaining isolation.
Enhancing real-time monitoring of the epidemic, facilitating the easing of pressure on emergency services and the SAMU, are two elements to support the local authorities in exiting lockdown. All collected data is communicated daily to Santรฉ publique France. The public agency centralizes information transmitted by these voice bots, as well as other existing systems such as maladiecoronavirus.fr, SOS mรฉdecins, Rรฉseau Sentinelle, etc. A “compass” to assist in exiting lockdown, a decision-making tool for communities (dashboard, mapping, granularity by postal code).
