“Watch out!!!! An invasion of ‘little rat’ and ‘little wolf’ will likely occur these upcoming days on the airwaves,” as written on her official website. Rest assured, it’s our young lady from Nice, Lucie Bernardoni, making her return to the artist scene. At just 18 years old, the new star of French song has just released her second single “Petit rat petit loup” with the collaboration of Mathieu Johann. She will be back in our region on November 9th on the first floor of Cap 3000 for a signing session with Mathieu Johann. And for those not living in the region, Lucie will be on prime-time TV on November 19 on TF1. With all her simplicity, the finalist of Star Academy 4 granted us an interview.
Nice-Première: On 10/10/2005, you released a single with Mathieu Johann, how did you decide on this duo?
Lucie Bernardoni: We decided it ourselves, out of desire and a favorite.
N-P: “Petit rat” or “Petit loup”?
L.B.: Both. Mathieu calls me that in the song!! It’s a game.
N-P: Your first single “Apprendre à rêver” is a tribute to Martin Luther King, the duets, solos you’ve done on the set of Star Academy, the tour, … You’ve sung in front of thousands of spectators and viewers, we can say that you have realized a dream. Believing in one’s dreams is important. Today, what is your dream? 
L.B.: It’s very important to have projects you truly believe in. Passion is everything. My dream is to record the best album possible. It’s in the works, I hope.
N-P: What do you think of the fifth “academician storm”? Do you have a favorite?
L.B.: I love Jean-Luc. He is a healthy, charismatic boy.
N-P: What advice would you give them?
L.B.: They need to make their own experiences. It’s important.
N-P: Have you kept in touch with the Star Academy 4 batch?
L.B.: Yes, some like Karima, Greg, and of course Mathieu. And others too.
N-P: Jenifer, the first winner of the Star Academy was launched by this show at age 18. Today, the academician from Nice is still very successful. Can we say that this show is a springboard for your career?
L.B.: Of course, it’s a springboard, but you need to convert the opportunity. I work hard.
N-P: What are your projects?
L.B.: An album for 2006 and cinematographic projects. Stay tuned!
