The Italian community celebrates the Liberation from Nazi-Fascist rule in 1945 during World War II on April 25th each year.
To commemorate this date, the Italian Consulate is organizing the performance of a play in memory of Sandro Pertini, an opponent of fascism, sentenced to captivity, partisan, and one of the leading figures of the National Liberation Committee, former President of the Italian Republic, and an honorary citizen of Nice.
