Based on an original idea by Mrs. Simone DUTHOY, a ceramist specializing in ceramic and fire arts using the “Raku” technique, who has brought together the artistic world in various disciplines, the “Friends of LACASSAGNE” Association is organizing a charitable auction of artworks to be held at CSL Gorbella (65, Boulevard Gorbella) on November 29th.
The proceeds from the event will be dedicated to improving the reception and comfort of patients hospitalized at the Antoine-Lacassagne Center; an initiative that aims to fill the gaps that the strict management of a healthcare facility cannot address in areas as diverse as reading, listening to music, acquiring certain physical therapy equipment, or even setting up an interactive kiosk to meet the expectations of patients or their families, particularly upon leaving the facility.
