The Petite Maison Prize was created in 2017 by Nicole Rubi, the owner of the venue. She entrusted the presidency to Patrick Besson.
This prize rewards a French book published during the year and comes with an award of 7,000 euros.
The shortlisted authors are:

-David FOENKINOS, Two Sisters, Gallimard.
-Jean-Baptiste de FROMENT, State of Nature, Aux Forges de Vulcain.
-Alain MABANCKOU, The Storks Are Immortal, Le Seuil.
- Yann MOIX, Break Up, Grasset.
-Eric NEUHOFF, Polaroids, Editions du Rocher.
