Opening yesterday at the Galerie de la Marine in Nice will be the venue for the opening of the exhibition of the 2012 graduates from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Art de la Villa Arson.
On this occasion, the Young Creation Prizes of the City of Nice/Bernar Venet Foundation, were awarded to two laureates.
These prizes reflect the strong commitment of the City of Nice to support the artists of tomorrow. They are intended to assist and support two young artists at the end of their five years of study at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Art de la Villa Arson and to facilitate their integration into professional life. It is awarded by a jury of 6 members chaired by Bernard Marcelis, Artpress, Brussels.
The laureate of the Young Creation Prize of the City of Nice receives a creation aid of 1500 euros, accompanied by a studio at Halle Spada and accommodation. The laureate of the Bernar Venet Foundation receives an aid of 1500 euros, a studio-accommodation at Le Muy with the artist. Both laureates will be exhibited at the Galerie de la Marine in 2013.
– The exhibition (part 1) will be presented from June 30 to September 30, 2012, every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except Mondays.
Part 2 will be presented from July 1 to October 7, 2012, at VILLA ARSON – 20 avenue Stephen Liégeard – Nice every day except Tuesday, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. (6 p.m. in September)
