A graduate in 1984 with a DESS in project management, Boubekeur Bekri began his career at the Lille Academy as a professor of economics and management. In 1997, he contributed to the establishment of a mediation workshop for students in difficulty at the Saint-Exupรฉry high school in Halluin.

In 1998, Mr. Bekri joined the Nice Academy, where he became actively involved in project facilitation, particularly in the design and production of films on preventing obesity in children and adolescents.

His professional career in National Education allowed him to be in contact with a diverse audience: high school students, university students, employees in training… His experience led him to reflect on contemporary social issues and to get involved in the associative sector. Thus, he took part in the creation of the CMA, the Azurรฉenne Muslim Coordination, which brings together twenty Muslim associations in the Alpes-Maritimes. Since 2001, he has also been involved in the work of the departmental citizenship education commission and the preparation of the Eid al-Adha celebration, at the prefecture of the Alpes-Maritimes.

In 2002, he took part in organizing the “Entente” list of the Alpes-Maritimes during the elections of the CRCM, the Regional Council of the Muslim Faith of Provence Alpes Cรดte dโ€™Azur, and the French Council of the Muslim Faith. In 2005, he was elected departmental delegate of the Alpes-Maritimes for the CRCM.
