Yesterday, Tuesday, July 5, thousands of high school students in France approached their school with a knot in their stomach. The day after this momentous occasion, we present to you the statistics for the 06.
The results of the 2022 BAC for the department of the Alpes-Maritimes are managed by the Nice academy. This year, 20,479 candidates, across all baccalaureates (57% in the general stream, 19.4% in technological streams, and 23.6% in the professional stream), took part in the June 2022 session. Among these candidates, 17,839 were accepted without needing to attend remedial exams.
National statistics show a success rate of 86%, which is 4.7% less than last year.
Several high schools in the Alpes-Maritimes even achieved a perfect success rate of 100%: Lycée du Mont-Saint-Jean in Antibes, Institution Sainte-Marie de Chavagnes (Cannes), Lycée international de Valbonne (Valbonne), Lycée Sasserno, Lycée Stanislas, Lycée Don Bosco, Lycée Saint-Barthélémy (Nice), Lycée Stanislas (Cannes), Lycée Fénelon (Grasse). As for the “stragglers” of the department, they include the Lycée professionnel Pierre et Marie Curie in Menton (69.7) and the Lycée professionnel Vauban in Nice (69.2).
