Back to school for the Alpes d’Azur schools.

Latest News

As in all the municipalities of the department, more than 750 students in the 14 schools of the Alpes d’Azur Community of Communes started their school year.

Charles-Anges Ginesy, President of the CCAA, ensured that the start of the school year went as smoothly as possible and took the opportunity to meet with the parents of students.

The President reiterated the shared ambition with the mayors to have a school of excellence for the children’s future, establishing education as a priority. To illustrate this, it represents 35% of the budget and 45% of the staff of the Community of Communes.

He expressed dissatisfaction with the State’s support for the implementation of these school rhythms, which amounts to โ‚ฌ50 per child per year, “which is insufficient to fund this reform. And even though we opposed it, we are tackling it head-on and will not leave any child by the wayside.”

A behavior, beyond the controversies, that should be commended for its exemplarity.
