In 2021, tourism is expected to be, once again, facing a difficult year. The latest figures show that the arrival of international tourists decreased by more than 80% in the first three months of the year.
The World Tourism Organization reports two scenarios for 2021. The first scenario anticipates a rebound in July, with a 66% increase in international arrivals compared to the historically low levels of last year. The second, less optimistic scenario, suggests a potential rebound starting in September.
