Antibes gave themselves some breathing room last night by dominating Châlons-Reims (82-69), one of their direct competitors in the race to avoid relegation, at the opening of the 28th day of the ProA basketball league.
This ninth victory allows the Sharks to overtake their opponent of the day and climb to fifteenth place in the standings, the next-to-last position before the relegation zone, thanks to a better head-to-head point average.
Having already defeated CCRB in the first leg (92-77), the Azurean club will be assured of staying ahead of them if they finish the season with a similar win/loss record.
