The Marine World Discovery Center is organizing Bibliomer (a traveling marine library) in July and August. It is a campaign to raise awareness about the marine environment that takes place along the Azurean coast.
This free traveling library introduces the public to the beauty of marine life and the coastline on the beaches of the Côte d’Azur, moving from Monday to Friday on the beaches from Antibes to Cap d’Ail from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM to inform interested swimmers.
Games and activities are offered to families with fun activities (educational books about the sea, games, gifts, …) as well as a contest at the stand to win numerous prizes (entrance tickets to Phoenix Park and the Monaco museum).
Bibliomer provides books, educational tools, files, brochures, videos, and other documents tailored to each audience: children, young people, and adults. This genuine mobile library and play area set up near the beaches includes a “relaxation area”: parasol, chairs, reading, and meeting area.
Flags and a “Bibliomer” banner signal the stand on the beach. An Auto Bleue (electric car) will allow ecological traveling from beach to beach throughout the summer.
