Biot hosts its Christmas Festivities

Latest News

Until January 5, 2014, Biot is unleashing a flurry of magical (and free) surprises for the end-of-year holidays. About fifteen workshop sessions and more than a dozen performances will compete in creativity with many other activities such as the ice rink or pony rides. The beating heart of these festivities: the ice rink.

feeries_biot.jpg This synthetic ice rink, which consumes neither water nor electricity, is ecological and 100% fun. Skaters must wear gloves. Ice skates will be provided, as well as adjustable skates for the little ones and sled chairs for the “even-smaller-ones”.

Santa’s mailbox will be located at the Communal Postal Agency until December 20 and then until December 24, 5 PM, at the ice rink, Place De Gaulle.

Children can drop their letters (with a nice drawing) in the box specifically for letters to Santa. If they remember to include their address, children will receive a reply from Santa.

Simultaneously, a wave of excitement will sweep through the historic center with magic shows, creative workshops, a parade of crystal treesโ€ฆ This winter episode familiar to the residents of Biot will be accompanied by a beneficent warmth throughout the event near the communal oven, fire shows, lantern parades, and the midnight mass embellished with its traditional living nativity scene.
