The 2012 Sports Trophies award ceremony for the City of Biot took place in a warm atmosphere, with more than 200 people in attendance.
The Mayor Jean-Pierre Dermit, the Municipal Councillor in charge of Sports Charles Roig, and the General Councillor, President of the Sports Commission at the General Council, Eric Pauget, honored 67 athletes who represented Biot at departmental, regional, national, and even international levels (Evan Doucet, Philรฉas Pasqualini, and Michel Roullier for the Taekwondo club, and the junior judo team of the Dojo Biotois).
Fifteen disciplines were thus celebrated: car racing, table tennis, equestrianism, sport shooting, athletics, taekwondo, acro-sport, running, judo, sailing, finswimming, mountain biking, aikido, karate, and football.
