16 years later, Tanguy, who is now 44 years old, returns to his parents’ home with his daughter Zhu in tow because Meï Lin has left him. Horrified to see their “baby” in such a state, Paul and Édith do everything they can to help him regain his zest for life, without realizing that in doing so, they are tying the noose for their own necks.

The comedy takes a long, long time to get going, and initially relies on a forced and repetitive sense of humor. Certainly not when the dialogues are as flat and perfectly colorless.
Sabine Azéma and André Dussollier do what they can, they manage to make us smile a little…
