The British airline company, present in Nice since the end of the Second World War, is opening a third connection between Nice and London-Gatwick, the second largest airport in the United Kingdom.

Nice thus becomes with British Airways, the only city in France and one of the five in the world giving access to the three major London airports and a range of global connections.
In 2011, the airline transported 545,000 passengers between Nice and London (+11.1%). For this year, it hopes to break its records on the Nice-London line, aiming for 630,000 passengers despite the tough competition with the low-cost airline EasyJet.
New route coincides with a new terminal at Gatwick
Thanks to British Airways’ new renovation program, the North Terminal of Gatwick Airport, both spacious and bright, is now equipped with cutting-edge technology to facilitate travelers’ passage. At the new self-service check-in kiosks, passengers can choose their seat, print luggage tags, and their boarding pass. For passengers with privileged access, a dedicated check-in area is entirely reserved.
