This 36th edition of the Royales ended on a very high note, and once again, the success of this event was evident in the magnificent setting of the Bay of Cannes.
The final day of the Cannes Royal Regattas – Panerai Trophy, a day filled with risks in certain categories, was raced in still light conditions. The almost summer-like conditions bathing the Côte d’Azur nonetheless allowed the race committee to launch a new coastal course for the Classics.
After 4 races in the Classics and 10 in the Metriques, Vanity V, Chinook, Mariquita, Sagittarius, Dorade, Sirius, Freya, and Speedbird claimed victory in their class.
