Cantonal Elections 2011: Call to Vote from Nissa Rebela

Latest News

– “Masters of our own house,” it is behind this slogan and this title that the identitarian candidates of Nissa Rebela have decided to conduct their campaign and present their action program for the department.

Far from candidates whose only argument is to belong to the majority, or those who simply repeat slogans created by Parisian communication agencies in the hopes of riding a national wave, Nissa Rebela has chosen to present voters with a complete program. Reading it will allow everyone to get an idea of what the identitarian general councillors would stand for within the departmental assembly.

The program – fully accessible on the movement’s website, or available in printed version – is structured around the following themes, each accompanied by concrete proposals:
— Identity: defend our language and traditions
— Sovereignty: for a Pays Niçois department
— Democracy: giving the voice to the people
— Taxation: stop paying for others
— Security: reclaim our streets from thugs
— Islamization: yes to socca, no to the burqa
— Localism: live and work in our country

Each of these themes expresses, from different angles, our strong desire to remain (and often to become again) masters of our own house.

Being masters of our own house firstly means that we should no longer feel like strangers on our own soil. We want to be able to feel safe in all streets, all neighborhoods, and all cities of the Pays Niçois. We want to be able to freely assert and calmly defend our identity.
To allow our children to thrive in the Pays Niçois, we must have control over our finances and support the local economic fabric. We also need the ability to control housing and urban planning to ensure young families and our elders can live sheltered from real estate speculation. Finally, we want to have the option to decide on the major orientations of departmental life through referendums, to prevent politicians from continuing to betray their electoral commitments.

– On March 20, vote for candidates who have a real local program aligned with the issues and challenges of our department, vote for candidates who defend you all year round, vote identitarian to remain masters of our own house!
