On December 2nd at 8 PM, Philippe JOURDAN-GASSIN, Member of the Chamber of Independent Heritage, presents an exceptional classical music recital featuring two great international artists, Cécile Bonhomme and Manfred Stilz.

This event (which will take place at the Jourdan-Gassin Insurance Office, 17 rue Alexandre Mari) will also be an opportunity to introduce the UNICE Foundation, launched in 2010 to promote the University Nice Sophia Antipolis (UNS) as a center of excellence for the PACA region.

Cécile Bonhomme studies at the National Conservatory of Region in Nice. She is a laureate of the international harp and chamber music competition in Arles. She participates in numerous festivals in France and abroad. In 2010, she founded the Harpe Diem association to share her passion with both able-bodied individuals and those with disabilities.

Manfred Stilz studies in Saarbrück where he receives the RFA international recorder prize. Concurrently, he works on the cello, benefiting from the guidance of Mstislav Rostropovich, Yehudi Menuhin, and György Sebök. He founded the Ravel trio with which he won the Grand Prize at the international competition in Belgrade (1972) and performs worldwide, notably at Carnegie Hall in New York.

Program: “O time, suspend your flight…”, will include works by FAURE, BACH, MASSENET, RAVEL, and GLUCK, presented by Aude MICHOT, Director of the Musique Passion concert office, and performed by Cécile BONHOMME on harp and Manfred STILZ on cello.
