Cérès Center: A Reality Establishing Itself in the Future Health City

Latest News

In line with the national educational health policy and in coherence with the public health bill, the Cérès Center set a new challenge in 2017 to enhance its healthcare offerings by making them accessible to 18-25-year-olds who have undergone bariatric surgery.

The educational pathway for nutritional rehabilitation would thus be structured around three axes:

• education on the benefits of a balanced diet
• prevention: addictive, risky behaviors
• health protection: lifestyle hygiene, a favorable environment for well-being.

The CÉRÈS Center within the Saint-François City integrates harmoniously into the broad program of urban architectural renewal of the Pasteur district in Nice East, foreshadowing the future European City of Health.

The Pasteur Health Center brings together 6 public and private health establishments, including the Pasteur 2 University Hospital, the Antoine Lacassagne Center, the University Institute of the Face and Neck (IUFC), the Sainte-Marie Psychiatric Hospital, the Saint François Clinic, the Saint-Luc Clinic, a very comprehensive academic hub including the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Saint John of Angély, the nursing and caregiver schools.

It welcomes every day 12,000 active individuals or residents and over 1,600 students and researchers.
