Friday, July 13th at 5:45 PM, in the gardens of the General Council, Mr. Eric Ciotti, Member of Parliament, President of the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, and Mr. Christian Estrosi, Member of Parliament and Mayor of Nice, President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, will present the General Council Prize and the City of Nice Prize to students who achieved the grade “Très bien” (Very Good) in the national Baccalaureate exam of 2012.
The General Council Prize consists of granting 200 euros to each recipient who graduated with the “Très bien” mention in the Baccalaureate. The City of Nice Prize, also valued at 200 euros, is awarded to Nice high school graduates who obtained the “Très bien” mention.
This year, 540 high school students will receive the General Council Prize, of which 509 are in the general baccalaureate. Among them, 178 students will receive the City of Nice Prize, including 165 in the general baccalaureate.
The youngest among them are Anne Spitz, aged 15, studying at Michelet High School in Nice, and Pierre Goux, aged 16, from Stanislas High School in Cannes. The highest average score goes to Hélène Rivière, from Stanislas High School in Nice, in the L series, with an overall average of 19.84.
